First Peoples Gallery is excited to bring to our 2008 Web Site the first Northwest Coast Collector's exhibit. The collection reflects a large body of work by some of the best NW Coast artists. The collection includes serigraphs by artists such as: Susan Point, Richard Hunt, Patrick Amos, Tom Hunt, Mark Henderson, George Hunt, Jr. (deceased), Robert Sebastian, Joe David , John La Ford, Joseph Wilson, D. Dennis, Francis Dick, Stan Greene, and Eugene Hunt. It is important to mention that this art form continues today but in some cases the older serigraph images are considered very collectible due to the scarcity and quality of the images from the 1980's and 90's. They have been created by the same Kwa-Gulth, Salish and Haida artists that are so well known for their marvelous carved masks, totems and drums. In many instances, the print is a facsimile of one of these 3 dimensional art works. There are 61 serigraphs in this collection. Most are one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced. These prints come framed and unframed… some as both. "F" and "U" indicate the two formats. Select your choice and contact us today.
