Aaron Freeland, Navajo, portrays truth in his portraits. In 1973 Aaron began studies at the Institute of American Indian Artists in Santa Fe where he studied under Allen Houser, Doug Hyde and other important twentieth century artists. Aaron Freeland has work on display at the Boston Museum of Fine Art. He has also been selected to exhibit in New York city and is a current participant in the Santa Fe Indian Market. Aaron's signature works are oils and pastels painted on black paper. He created an award winning block print titled "Navajo Girl" for the 2005 Indian Market. His popularity with collectors continues to grow.
